NEW MUSIC TUESDAYS

I know.. It's a day late! I'm sorry guys! I'm gonna try and get better at this whole blogging thing! haha! Lets get down to music! A new album came out by Selena Gomez named Stars Dance!

May I just say Selena looks amazing on this cover! Now this is her debut solo album. It has 11 songs on the standard edition and 15 on the deluxe. We all know she isn't the best singer in the world. Brittany Spears isn't either, but she still makes catchy songs! I would describe Selena as a mini Brittany Spears. Come and Get It is an amazing song! It doesn't have the best vocals, but its still catchy! All of the songs on here show a different side of Selena! I love that! They're very catchy! Vocal grade would be a C- and Catchiness would be an A! Lets see what she has in store for her next album!

One Direction: Best Song Ever

 
I'm not a huge fan of One Direction.. They're not my cup of tea. They're just a put together teeny bop boy band. This song is just another generic teen pop song that there fans will love. I don't. That's all I gotta say.

Icona Pop: All Night

This song is a radio hit and I love it! Icona Pop has done it again with another fun pop-electro song! I thought they would be one hit wonders with 'I Love It', but they proved me wrong! Well done, girls!

Ariana Grande: Baby I
This song is amazing! The best from a kid star by far in my opinion! Ariana has a gift! She might be the best voice right now! I'm not even kidding! It's that good! Listen to it! It reminds me of old school Mariah Carey!

BOOK NERD WEDENSDAY

I know.. I didn't do NEW MUSIC TUESDAY! I'll get better! I promise for you guys! Comment guys! I would love to communicate with you! Now a book topic I want to discuss on us Reading Slumps.. We all have them! I hate them! You don't want to read for a certain amount of time! I mean why do we do we do this? It's okay to take a break from books, but I hate reading slumps! Heres a few tips to get over them.

Take a break and go back to new book.

Take a break and go back to an old favorite.

Set goal. (certain amount of pages)

Watch BookTube videos on YouTube for inspiration.

Listen to an audio book to spice things up.

Go to a bookstore!

Random Topic #1 (Celebirty Pregnancies) It's JUST a Baby!

Today has been a DAY for births.. July 22 had gotten a lot of birthdays! Notably Princess Kate has given birth to a baby boy and Hilary Scott the lead singer of Lady Antebellum has given birth to a baby girl.

I wish the best for these new mothers, BUT are celebrity births really worth the hype? I don't think so! Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, and everyone who wants to should be able to experience it, but is it really that interesting to follow? I mean c'mon.. We see a pregnant woman on the road and we don't even acknowledge it, but when a celebrity gets pregnant everyone goes crazy! They hypothesize the gender, hair color, name, etc. It's just a BABY people! Don't get me wrong I love babies and I think they're adorable, but giving birth won't give you a Nobel Peace Prize. The only thing separating these two and all the other mothers are that they are famous, and one doesn't even have a talent. I'm talking about Princess Kate. I'm not bashing her or anything, but if it wasn't for Prince William she would've been another regular English girl. I know this baby is next to the throne but c'mon people! Pregnancy is regular thing that is natural. The majority of the babies who grow up to be adults (excluding Princess Kate's baby) will not be as famous as their parents. So why do we make such a fuss about it? This is a question I wonder and I bet millions of other people wonder. I wish the best for these two and hope the babies are healthy! Favorite Album: The Blessed Unrest by Sara Bareilles:

I have always loved Sara since Love Song! This albums furthers my love for her! Every song on here is perfection and a piece of heaven! Standout Tracks are Brave, Manhatten and Little Black Dress!

Favorite Song: This is a 3-way tie for me this week!
Zendaya- Replay

This song is a COMPLETEY different sound for Zendaya! She has proven herself in the music industry with this debut single! It's a perfect mix of electronic, urban and dance! She has a great future ahead of her!

Sara Bareilles-Brave:

This song is amazing! I've loved every Sara Bareilles single to date and this one blew me away! Her vocals are just breathtaking! If you have a chance see her live! She is amazing! It's so carefree and feel-good and that's what I love about it!

Brittany Spears- Ooh La La

This is my guilty pleasure song! It's so catchy! At first I thought I would HATE this song, but it's actually pretty fun! Too bad its the single for a horrible movie and not her upcoming album we have yet to hear about...

Favorite Food: I have been eating 2 foods constantly this week! Peanut butter and fruit salad.. Not together of course but.. haha! I used to not be a fan of peanut butter but now I cant get enough of it! Fruit salad is healthy and delicious! So that's just good overall!

Favorite T.V. Show: Big Brother: After Dark: I have been watching this every night! It's just entertaining for regular to interact! haha! I know It sounds kinda creepy!

Favorite Youtuber: My favorite youtuber this week is ArielBisset! She is just so entertaining and fun to watch! She specializes in books and discussion videos!

Favorite App: My favorite app this week would be Tiny Tower! Its a very fun and entertaining game that will pass your time quickly so be very careful!

Favorite Person: AUBREY PLAZA!

I just lover her humor and personality! I WANT TO SEE THE TO DO LIST!

T.V. Thursdays! (Big Brother 15 Recap)

Welcome to the first edition of T.V Thursdays! I'm excited to talk about one of my FAVORITE reality shows BIG BROTHER!



With David and Nick already gone, that brings down not 1 but 2 showmances for Aaryn and GinaMarie. Helen was HOH this week. She was a good player this week in my opinion. She was betrayed by Spencer and Howard this week also. That made her furious with the both of them! She decided to tell Elissa who was MVP, who is also my favorite to put Spencer up for elimination. Helen nominated Kaitlyn and Aaryn for eviction with Aaryn being the most hated girl in and outside the house. She nominated Kaitlyn for association! The veto comp this week was awesome. It required memorization. Kaitlyn ended up winning! You'd think that be good for her right? WRONG. Kaitlyn and Jeremy have a raging showmance in the house and everyone knows it. Helen and Elissa wanted Jeremy out! They came up with a stunning plan to backdoor Jeremy when the power of veto was used. Kaitlyn ended up using the POV on herself, which resulted in Jeremy being backdoored. The night of eviction had a score of 1,0,9 in which Aaryn had 0, Spencer had 1, and Jeremy had 9 which meant Jeremy was evicted. There was also a NEW twist. WE are the BBMVP America! We get to pick the third nominee! I think I know who it will be! We also got a new HOH which was Judd! He'll get more screentime! haha! He never gets any. I wonder what happens next week! If you are not familiar with Big Brother they are having a catch up marathon on TGN. Its on 274 for Direc TV. Check your local listings!
